    the smell of cigarettes was overwhelming, especially at reception. i couldn’t believe the pool hours were so limited—only open Saturday from 15h to 20h, how ridiculous! i expected a complimentary upgrade for this mess but guess they treat everyone like ‘regulars. ’ my potential good review just couldn't happen, sorry!

    the etoile was a beautiful stop on my trip. the room was spacious, with a big bed and a clean bathroom. the swimming pool was great, being a full-length one rather than a small hotel pool. it's conveniently located close to aosta, making it easy to get back on the road. the staff were genuinely attentive and always offered me more coffee at breakfast.

    It was just a fitting option for a momentary visit in Sarre with definitely value for money. The breakfast selection was surprisingly good with fresh pastries and cheeses. Plan to arrive early if you want a parking spot since it fills up fast.
